With Alan Sheehan having guided the Swans to Championship safety — after five straight wins — it feels like the right time to draw the curtain on the SCFC2 Forum.
I’ve run this site as a labour of love in my spare time for nearly 11 years. Those who know me personally will know this has been on the horizon for quite some time, but with growing family and work commitments, I’ve come to the difficult decision that I simply no longer have the time or energy it needs.
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s contributed to the guestbook, and forum over the years. Whether you posted regularly or just popped in now and again, you helped build a passionate Swansea City fan community.
One of the most popular features of the forum has been niallo11’s Academy match reports. I’m pleased to say these will live on, as they’re being moved over to the Academy pages on the SCFC2 website.
Here’s hoping the Swans enjoy better fortunes in the Championship next season, but whatever happens, I’ll always be Proud to be a Swan.
