Swansea City fell to defeat at the Swansea.com Stadium as two early goals secured victory for promotion-chasing Burnley.
Josh Brownhill struck within four minutes, and Jaidon Anthony doubled the visitors’ lead before the 23-minute mark. From there, the Clarets – unbeaten in the league since early November – managed the game effectively, preventing Swansea from staging a comeback.
The hosts had chances, including a Ronald header, but were unable to capitalise, bringing a tough run of four games in 11 days to a frustrating conclusion.
Alan Sheehan made just one change from the Watford loss, with Kyle Naughton replacing the ineligible Hannes Delcroix.
The Swans will now look to use the international break to rest and re-group ahead of the trip to Leeds United on 29 March.

Post-Match Reaction from Alan Sheehan
Alan Sheehan admitted Swansea City lacked the spark needed to mount a comeback after conceding two early goals in their defeat to Burnley.
“This was always going to be a difficult game for us today, and we made it even more difficult for ourselves with the way we conceded the first goal, that made it an uphill battle from there, we let the distances get too big and then we switched off in certain areas for the second goal.
“I think it was a game too far with it being four games in 10 days, and you are up against a really physical team you are used to keeping clean sheets and really difficult to break down.
“I felt we huffed and puffed in different areas at different times, but ultimately the lads are out on their feet and they are a team who are where they are for a reason.
“We talk about attitude and desire and things like that. The lads gave everything but we just lacked a bit of a spark.”
